5/1 - Canes prep for Toronto - 3 scrimmages set, 5/4 @ Brooklyn, 8 pm with the Jets, 5/11 & 16, 930 pm with the Rebels, wear white for all 3, $10 per session

4/24 - Jets-Canes II - The Jets are playing their 4th playoff game, having won two games against the Stampede and losing one to the Canes.  If the Canes can win, they will secure the division championship, if they lose, its all on the line for a 3rd playoff game against the Jets.  First up is the rematch on 4/25, 8 pm @ Barons.

3/7 - Predators pound Canes, 8-1 - Outshot 37-5 and undermanned, the Canes put up little resistance to the Predators

2/21 - Canes lose 6-5 to the Stampede - In a back and fourth game that a the same feel as the 2006 Toronto championship game, the Canes fell short to the Stampede.  Down 3 zip, the Canes came back and led in the 3rd, 5-4, only to see the Stampede score late in the 3rd and win it 6-5.  We get one more regular season game against them in March.

1/24 - Canes come back from 3 zip deficit - The Canes found themselves down 3 zip to the Blast early in the first.  Three goals late in the 1st tied it up and 5 goals in the 3rd put it away. 

1/9 - Vegas anyone - It appears we might have gained an entry into a Vegas "tournament" the weekend of April 30th, see Pants for details

1/9 - All but one game is schedule - see the schedule tab, 21 of 22 games are now scheduled.

12/19 - Canes end 2010 portion of the season 8-0 -The Canes battled the jets to close out the first half of the season.  In our last encounter, the Jets went up early and led 3-0 and 4-1 only to see the Canes battle back and win 7-4.  This time, they went up 2-0 after one.  Trading goals back and fourth the game went to the third to see the Canes come out on top 5-4.  Our season resumes 1/2 versus the Glaciers. 

12/15 - Canes improve to 7-0, look to close out first half of the season against the Jets - The Canes dispatched the Bombers with a 9-4 victory and look forward to closing out 2010 with a victory against the Jets on 12/16.

11/28 - Canes overcome 3 goal deficit to win 7-4 - The Jets scored early and often, potting 3 goals in the first to take a 3-0 lead.  They scored their 4th early in the 2nd to lead 4-1.  The Canes chipped away little by little though, down 4-3 after two periods.  Three more goals in the 3rd including a shortie and an empty netter saw the Canes win 7-4.  Next up, the Blast with Andrew filling in for Rob in net on 12/2.

11/17 - Canes improve to 4-0 - The Canes stretched their winning streak to 4 gms as they scored a 4-3 victory over the Stampede in overtime.  In a game that either team could have won, DC scored with 28 seconds left in OT.  Next up, the Jets on 11/21.

10/31 - Canes improve to 2-0 - The Canes defeated the Piranhas 5-1.  The first period was tied 1-1 and it looked like the 2nd would see neither team score, but the Canes scored with 22 seconds left to go up 2-1.  The 3rd period saw 3 more goals to finish the game with a 5-1 victory.

10/17 - Canes set for opener on 10/18 - The Canes will take on the Stampede in their opener for the 2010-11 season.  In the newly created division, the Canes will be competing with the Jets, Ice Barons and Stampede.  The season opens against the Stampede, 9:15 @ Barons.
